Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using dscd.to ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

dscd.to allows Discord server owners to create custom short URLs that redirect to their Discord server invite links. The Service is available in a free tier and a paid Premium tier.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) and comply with Discord's Terms of Service to use this Service.

4. Account and Authentication

The Service uses Discord OAuth2 for authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Discord account. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized use of your account.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

Create slugs or handles that are misleading, offensive, or infringe on trademarks
Redirect users to harmful, illegal, or malicious content
Promote hate speech, discrimination, or content targeting individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, religion, or other protected characteristics
Spam or abuse the slug creation system
Circumvent any rate limits, access controls, or bans

We actively filter slugs for prohibited content. Violations may result in immediate account suspension without notice or refund.

6. Slug and Handle Ownership

Slugs and bio page handles are granted on a first-come, first-served basis. We reserve the right to reclaim any slug or handle that violates these Terms or infringes on a trademark or brand. Handles may only be changed once every 30 days.

7. Premium Subscription

dscd.to offers an optional Premium subscription at $2.99 per month, billed monthly. Premium includes:

Up to 10 invite links per server (vs. 4 on the free tier)
Password-protected links
Link expiry dates
Custom link rename
Click analytics

Subscriptions are managed through Stripe. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.

8. Billing and Auto-Renewal

Your Premium subscription automatically renews each month until cancelled. You will be charged on the same date each billing cycle. We will not provide advance notice before each renewal charge.

9. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Settings page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain Premium access until then. We do not offer partial refunds for unused time. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at help@mail.dscd.to.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, without notice. Accounts terminated for violations of these Terms are not eligible for a refund of any prepaid subscription fees.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uptime, availability, or that redirect links will remain valid.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, dscd.to shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
