dscd.to ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding it.

2. Data We Collect

When you log in with Discord, we receive and store:

Your Discord user ID, username, and avatar
Your email address (provided by Discord)
An OAuth2 access token to make requests to Discord on your behalf
The list of Discord servers you own (fetched at login and on dashboard load)

When you subscribe to Premium, we store:

Your Stripe customer ID
Your Stripe subscription ID
Your subscription tier and current billing period end date

We do not store full payment card details. All payment information is handled directly by Stripe.

When someone visits a dscd.to link, we may log:

Timestamp of the click
Referring URL
Country (derived from IP address — raw IP addresses are not stored)
User agent string

3. How We Use Your Data

To authenticate you and manage your session
To display your owned Discord servers and allow you to manage invite links
To provide click analytics on your links (Premium)
To manage your subscription and billing through Stripe
To enforce platform rules (e.g., handle cooldowns, content bans)

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the following service providers necessary to operate the Service:

Neon — our managed PostgreSQL database provider
Vercel — our hosting and edge network provider
Stripe — our payment processor. When you subscribe to Premium, Stripe collects and processes your payment information under Stripe's Privacy Policy.
Discord — authentication and server data via OAuth2, under Discord's Privacy Policy.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page, which removes your profile, links, servers, and click history. Stripe subscription records may be retained as required by financial regulations.

6. Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect your data. OAuth tokens are stored securely and used only to communicate with the Discord API on your behalf. Passwords for protected links are stored as SHA-256 hashes and are not recoverable.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction or deletion of your data
Withdraw consent for data processing
Data portability

8. Cookies & Sessions

We use a session cookie to keep you logged in. No third-party tracking or advertising cookies are used.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page.
